Shoned is a very experienced UK qualified and registered veterinary nurse and has been working with animals since 1998. She qualified as a British Veterinary Nurse in 2005 and also completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2015. Having a passion for education and training she completed her Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Small Animals) in 2016, Canine and Feline Veterinary Nutrition in 2017 and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2017.
Before Shoned came over to Australia she spent several years as head nurse of Hong Kongs largest exotic referral clinic, working with various species and training Veterinary Nurses in all aspects of animal and patient care. Having kept and worked with reptiles for over 20 years, and gaining her Certificate in exotics in 2012, exotics are one of her main passions and areas of interest which she has continued to develop and educate nurses in worldwide.
